Born on August 20, 1980, in Eruwa, located within the Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State, Babatunde’s formative years were deeply influenced by the values of his hometown. His early life in Eruwa instilled in him a foundational understanding of community bonds, the strength of interpersonal relationships, and the vital importance of working toward collective progress. He completed his secondary education at Apode High School, Eruwa, establishing the academic discipline and drive that would fuel his higher education pursuits.
Driven by a passion for fiscal responsibility and institutional growth, Babatunde embarked on a comprehensive academic path in accounting and financial management. He earned his National Diploma in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, followed by a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
To further elevate his expertise, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Crescent University, Abeokuta, graduating with Second Class Upper Division honors. He subsequently completed his Master of Science in Accounting at the University of Lagos, Akoka, attaining a Ph.D. Grade standing. In alignment with his commitment to professional standards, he continues his professional growth as a Student Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
